About Us

Billy Joe Brewer started his career in the early 70’s in the Miami area. Having been a member in the Operating Engineers and having held every position in the site work industry including crane operator he worked on projects all over South Florida. From there he worked throughout the entire state of Florida and worked some projects in other states. In the 80’s he ran a Florida division of a nationwide company and held the title of General Manager for several years but ultimately decided to make the Space Coast of Florida his permanent home and went to work as a GM for local company that would enjoy great success growing from 25 employee’s to 160 employee’s with his leadership and experience.

In 2002 Billy Joe took the leap and founded Brewer Paving and Development. Starting with strong Christian faith and a work ethic unmatched, in a small office with a small group of employees BP&D quickly enjoyed success and grew to over 100 employees and enough equipment to handle any size job doing complete site development.

Today Brewer Paving & Development is located in Cocoa, Florida and enjoys a beautiful large office and huge 8 bay shop that sits on 5 acres that Billy Joe is very proud of. He continues to be involved in day to day operations and strives to always make BP&D a great company that still to this day incorporates his moral and professional values at all times.
